RealPage Asset UI Library (Version 3.0)
With 80+ products living inside the RealPage ecosystem, our designers, product teams and developers needed access to consistent patterns, components and interfaces. We had learned from previous versions of our UI Library (RAUL) that variances were still occurring across our designs. Through workshops and many brainstorming sessions with designers and product managers, Me and 2 other designers were tasked to implement a workflow for our designers and developers to ensure consistent patterns throughout the entire product line.
Notifications
Problem: Each product team was designing separate features specific to individual projects, causing inconsistencies between products. One in particular was notifications.
Solution: A team consisting of me and 2 other designers were tasked to design a fluid notification system that could be implemented on all products and applications.
Documentation
Missing in previous iterations, we made sure version 3.0 of RAUL strictly laid out how and when to use components.
Improvements in Accessibility
Re-evaluating our colors, with made sure the choices we made were compliant with WCAG 2.0 guidelines for contrast accessibility.
